Dirt cup upgrade

I’m back to childhood American classic desserts (or late night college snacks for finals week, at least that’s what my college did).

I’ve also kind of fallen off the healthy food wagon a bit which I think is mostly due to my bachelorette status.

So I thought I would make myself an updated version of the tasty kids dessert.

I tried to get some Oreos, but being at New Seasons means they were $5 for a package which is insane.

Paul Newman’s wheat free and dairy free Newman O’s were the next best thing, even though they sound tasteless.

But I will always buy Mr. Newman’s products because he always delivers flavor and he donates to charity.

Plus he made great movies.

Anyways, I just happened to come upon Belgian chocolate pudding at Trader Joes as well.

There might be some organically made gummi worms somewhere but that was more work than I was willing to do.

This was like my farewell to bad food, because I really should eat better.

I did the farewell right though, the Newman O’s tasted as good as Oreos and I really liked the Trader Joes pudding.

It was rich, thickly chocolatey and lasted 3 servings.

And my gummi worms were fruitier than I remembered.
