Stephanie’s stash

These are the sweets I still have left from the holidays.

I actually had to make some drawer space to have a place for my sweet stash, and these don’t even count the Christmas cookies in the freezer.

In this stash, I also used to have a Toblerone bar which is one of the few American chocolates I think I like. I enjoyed sucking on these triangles of milk chocolate at work until only the crunchy almond nougat remained.

Someone at work gave that away along with the yummy jelly beans and Theo Chile bar above after the holidays.

And as the person who eats dark chocolate to make the day more enjoyable, I can start my own collection to dig into when I need it.

I am known to buy dark chocolate bars by the case, but the  problem with that is there is less variety.

The Trader Joes Cupcake chocolates are very interesting.

Upon seeing the box, there was a dispute whether they are chocolate cupcakes or cupcake shaped chocolates.

They are the second one, with three flavors: cappuccino, crispy chocolate and salted caramel.

The cappuccino one was a little weird because there was no dark coffee layer, like, well, a real cappuccino. It was like eating vanilla ganache.

I love Trader Joes for its fun sweets, made out of all natural ingredients. The problem is their stock often changes, so I may never eat the dark chocolate covered triple gingersnaps ever again!

I wonder of any of you folks have the leftover sweet problem from the holidays too even though it is almost February, and then another sweet holiday will be arriving soon!
